Diwakar Patil college of Education is run by a renowned - D. K. Patil Education Trust. The Trust is registered under the Act 1950 dated 15-12-1998, regd - E- 2000 Thane.

This Trust aims to provide education not only at primary, secondary and junior college level but also to provide professional courses like D. Ed., B. Ed. and technical courses for the welfare and betterment of society.
